First of all, I had no idea this book is part of the series. However, this can be a stand-alone novel.
This is about a young mother and her son living in a small town with the infamous Comfort Food Cafe. She struggles to learn about herself and her friends she's made in this town. She's had a rough childhood and does not care for Christmas. This is about her personal emotional growth and how she evolved.
This is a humorous and emotional novel. I thoroughly enjoyed it very much. I'd give it a low 4 stars.
I received this heartwarming ARC from Harper Impulse and Killer Reads HarperCollins through Net Galley in exchange for my honest and unbiased review, Thank you!
